I'm a producer, based in Los Angeles. I produced in China and in France, came to Los Angeles for the USC Peter Stark Producing Program, and went from there to Sony Pictures Television, in the Office of the President, and then to business affairs at Sony Pictures Animation — including on KPop Demon Hunters, which won the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature this year.

Business affairs is the unglamorous half of the business: the deals, the rights, the paperwork that decides who owns what. It's a useful thing to have done before asking a writer to trust you with their book.
